If you’re looking for additional space, a Dormer provides the answer - without pushing the price through the roof! This type of loft conversion involves extending the space out from your sloping roof, creating a flat-roofed add-on perfect when you need just a bit more room to play with.

Hip to gable loft conversion

This loft conversion type extends out to the side of your property and to the front or back, creating even more space than a Dormer offers and maximum potential. Yours will need to be a semi or detached house with a side-sloping roof, the latter permitting you even more freedom to extend on both sides.

Mansard loft conversion

If you want to create something spectacular – and budget is no issue – a full-length Mansard is perfect for creating maximum space for your home. Amazing Lofts were a fantastic team to work with. Everyone we came into contact with was extremely professional, warm and friendly, and the final... cost was that quoted. We’re so happy with our two bedroom/one bathroom hip to gable dormer extension on our 1930s semi, which was delivered to a high standard.For full transparency, there were a handful of jobs that were not completed to the same high standard as the rest of the work (e.g. radiators installed in the wrong position), but to Amazing Lofts’ credit, all of the issues raised throughout the project have been very quickly remedied without question and at no extra cost to the final quote. The time taken to complete the project was longer than suggested (six months instead of three), however, this was a direct result of our attached neighbours joining on the build for a loft conversion last minute, and the builders working on both houses simultaneously.
