Do I need to arrange other living arrangements? - In short, no not if you don’t want to. Yes, you might be without water, heating and electric at various times, and there might be a bit of mess and dust but there’s no reason to move out. If you would prefer to stay elsewhere temporarily, while work is being done this is also possible.

What’s the timescale? - It varies on size and how complex the job is but on average, they take around six weeks.
